An old
man was looking to the horizon where huge skyscrapers are seen like the
mountains of Himalayas or Alps. “Sun rises on one of the skyscrapers and Sun
Set on another”. He talked to his grand child. “Once, in my childhood, the
land was greenish, unending grasslands; it was like a green ocean, far
extended with few small small small hills here and there with lot of grazing
animals, some animals where there to hunt, the east side has a few water holes
where birds flock together. The view itself is like viewing heaven from
distant. I have seen foxes running in numerous numbers line by line in my
younger age. I used to play there looking those beasts. No conflict at all
with beasts. We know each other…very well (little laugh). Lots of huge
trees, where there on the Southern Side. Wolfs where there, Likewise Bears and
Leopards. I didn’t see any Lions here. Somewhere Vultures flock together,
there must be some dead carcasses there, Hyenas where found here and there
running with laughing sound in the night hours. Thousands of different sounds
I hear one day and thousands of poor souls I see in the day time all vanished
for few bugs!“ (Continued….) “atlast you see only talking animals and
birds on your monitor…. Crazy fellows….did you think those animals and
birds are beautiful… I have seen more with my eyes; I have seen more on your
monitor, which nothing interested me… the smell of the grass (ha ha), the
color of parrots…you have never felt or enjoyed with your eyes… you only
see those huge blocks of rooms scattered here and there…and few digital and
paper money…that is your world totally…I don’t blame you…some persons
are lucky enough to be born earlier in this time and space, some are equally
unlucky to be here on this earth now…they have no freedom even to run for
few miles with their own will…if suppose that poor person will trespass
numerous private lands…you cannot throw a stone far high…you will be in
jail for criminal cases…your world in this time and space is limited and
totally you are in a cage… and you feel you are well advanced and modern man
who is living luxuriously!”
“I have seen fresh fruits of real
tastes…Squirrels, birds and other creatures where happily moving around
fruit trees…we don’t complain that they are eating…those fruits is for
all. This world is not for only humans…but for all all…that mother earth
gave birth…Your attitude has killed all your brothers and sisters on this
earth…you modified modified out of ill desire and you achieved nothing but
money…and you sit inside that foolish cool environment that you built
instead of sitting under fresh air….you complain for everything and
anything…but at your age I didn’t complain for anything because I know the
world and what it is….”
“Nature and Environment is
precious…once you try to modify or change it with your selfish desire…do
you think you can compensate for the same…a single grass torn out of earth
cannot be replaced by your money or any other cloned grass. Nature has
provided everything by its own will and importance…..Money is nothing….but
you can consume anything from this world of man…the tears fallen on this
earth…the trees felled…the poached animals…..not only you eat every
species on this earth…..i didn’t understand why man consume anything and
everything without any preference… I sometimes feel he is the devil born on
this earth with all negative psychic tendencies…”
“Son.. why
I call man as a Selfish Territorial animal, is because he only partitioned the
whole world into continents and then to countries and then to states and then
into numerous units…the land is considered for him only…but many preaches
that the world is for all….he coined the word God…but he never see it or
recognize it…all these centuries…he fought many many furious wars…killed
each other…he has a powerful nectar of belief in his psyche…this made him
blind from the real truth…Whether God is only for him or for
all…?”
“Son…you know what is Development? What exactly it
is all about….in simple words Development is all about making human beings
comfortable with all existing artificial and natural means…converting,
modifying, destroying or eliminating what all things that lay in between
comfort and nature. You cut trees not because you don’t want trees…you
must be safer from snakes, insects and all others…once you don’t get
enough air you start planting tree saplings….so you fools don’t know what
all destruction is done on natural habitat in the name of development….it is
invaluable and cannot weigh in terms of any money…once trees are cut it is
cut…you are cutting your own air passages in the
lungs.”
“Think Son, what you have done all these past years
inventing and discovering in this world…you see enormous wastages organic
and inorganic. Wastes on earth, wastes on air, wastes on water, and wastes on
outer space waste inside your own home all resulted from your researches and
inventions…Now these fool humans run here and there for recycling and
dumping these wastes. As you have invented numerous types of vehicles to move
from one part to another, you have carried numerous micro-organisms and other
living species to all other parts and introduced on every part of the world
disturbing and destructing the valuable part of nature and modifying
environmental behavior. Mother earth knows once in future you will be an
extinct species because of your own inventions and discoveries! Think of it
why I tell like this! You have made nuclear projects, Bombs, Missiles,
Torpedoes and all means of destructive things out of your intelligence, but
human intelligence is cheating the nature because he is dipped in the world of
ignorance. At last you created a big hole on the Ozone layer and boosted the
melting of polar ices, did you call it as the result of all these nasty
development. While using Fridges, Air conditioners and all stupid stuffs, you
started to eat old foods and modified behavior and thought it is
modernity…ha…ha…ha…Actually my Son you don’t know what you are
doing…”
“Now you know Son, for the past few years I have
never seen a Frog croaking or a Bird Singing…I forgotten the sounds of many
animals… I have lost memory of those good fruits eaten once and I have never
seen a smiling human face on this planet…..i just hear only noises and
complains…so stupid and I prefer not to live on this planet… because of
this devilish selfish men…he is seen everywhere and anywhere….where can I
hear a nice song of Birds in this nature my Son…You may answer I will take
my Bird Songs CD or DVD…No…Son I hate those speakers… I meant fresh and
live… and not from Zoos…I want to see free birds
flying….”
“My Son… if somebody from the far away world asks
a soul to go to earth and have an experience in living…If the Soul is
ignorant it may go…or if the creator explains the behavior of men here.. The
Soul rejects the offer and stays there itself stagnant. Earth has become a
hell because of you Son. To know it you must have a heart of Empathy towards
other species.”
